Job Opening at DePaul

DePaul University seeks a tenure-track, full-time, Assistant Professor faculty member in the child track of the clinical psychology Ph.D. program, to begin in September, 2016. Prerequisites include a strong research background and agenda, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology. Licensed, or license-eligible candidates are preferred, and experience with external research funding is desirable. The research area of specialization is open, including expertise and interests that are complementary to those of current faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses and contribute to the university’s liberal studies curriculum; (2) mentor students and supervise theses and dissertations; and (3) make distinctive contributions to the scientific literature in clinical child or pediatric psychology.
