Nova Southeastern University’s College of Psychology invites applications for a full-time faculty position in clinical/forensic psychology at our main campus in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and employment is expected to begin in August, 2016.  The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring students and will be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida.  Additionally, the successful candidate must be actively involved in research and will be encouraged to publish, supervise student research, and seek external funding to support research.  Job responsibilities will include the ability to work with, to advise, and to mentor students representing various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

The College of Psychology offers undergraduate majors in psychology and behavioral neuroscience, APA-accredited Ph.D. and Psy.D programs in clinical psychology and a pre-doctoral internship program.  Also part of the College is an APA-accredited South Florida consortium internship program, Master of Science programs in counseling, general, forensic, and experimental psychology, and a doctoral and a specialist program in school psychology.  The college trains students at its Psychology Services Center which serves a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults through its general and specialty clinics.
