Position Announcement: FULL Time Clinician at the Center for Anxiety, Manhattan

Staff Clinician - Center for Anxiety, Empire State Building
The Center for Anxiety™ invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) staff clinician, commencing in January, 2016 (or sooner) at our Empire State Building location. Primary opportunities will include conducting clinical intakes for new patients, and providing evidence-based psychotherapy (Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to adults and adolescents for anxiety and related symptoms. Clinical experience with children is a plus, and clinicians with an interest in contributing to program-based research and teaching are particularly encouraged to apply. Program development and other leadership opportunities are available for members of our outstanding team. Minimum qualifications of applicants must include all of the following: (1) current licensure and good standing as a psychologist, social worker, or mental health counselor in the state of New York (candidates with a doctoral degree and 2-5 years of clinical post-licensure experience are preferred); (2) strong diagnostic skills including experience with assessment of Axis I disorders using structured diagnostic interviews; and (3) experience with providing evidence based treatments to adults and adolescents. Interested candidates should send a letter of interest, Curriculum Vitae and 1-2 letters of recommendation to the attention of David H. Rosmarin, Ph.D., via email to Sean Carp at scarp@centerforanxiety.org. Interviewing for this position will occur on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
