Research Position Opening Northwestern University Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies

The Northwestern University Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies (CBITs; www.cbits.northwestern.edu) is seeking a clinical psychologist who can provide clinical care in research trials, coordinate research and assist in the development of web-based and mobile interventions. 


The position can be staff, postdoctoral fellow, or research faculty, depending on qualifications and candidate preference.  Faculty appointments would be in the Department of Preventive Medicine. Supervised clinical hours for licensure would be available. Primary responsibilities consist of 1) provision of telephone delivered cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing for depression in the context of a research trial, 2) Intervention development including developing and designing technology-assisted health interventions, 3) Research management, including supervision/training of research assistants and clinical data collection. Experience in some or all of the above areas are preferred. The successful candidate will possess clinical skills in mental health and/or behavioral medicine that are transferrable to technology-assisted intervention development.
