Post-doc Positions-Clinical Research--mood and ADHD

TWO POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS – 1) ADHD NEUROFEEDBACK  STUDY; 2) CHILDHOOD MOOD DISORDERS--  OHIO STATE UNIV CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY. 
 
Neurofeedback: This grant-funded position (NIMH R01) will provide the successful candidate with training and experience in administering neurofeedback (EEG biofeedback) for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as experience executing a complex double-blind placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial, assessing and treating children with ADHD, analyzing, presenting, and publishing ADHD and autism study findings; and supervising a research assistant and undergraduate students. L. Eugene Arnold, MD, M.Ed. is the PI, Mary Fristad, PhD, ABPP will provide clinical supervision for licensure. Mood Disorders:  This grant-funded position (1 NIMH R01 and 2 NIMH R34 grants) will provide the successful candidate with experience in: grant writing; analyzing, presenting, and publishing study findings; assessment/treatment of children with depressive and bipolar spectrum disorders; and supervising graduate and undergraduate students in a large lab. One study will begin the Year 10 follow-up of a large cohort of youth at risk for bipolar spectrum disorders. The two treatment studies examine the impact of psychoeducational psychotherapy and omega3 fatty acids in children with depressive and bipolar spectrum disorders. Both Positions: Start date: July 1-Sept 1, 2014 (if available, an earlier start date could be arranged). Applicants should have completed an APA/CPA accredited doctoral program and internship with specialization in clinical child psychology.
