The Substance Abuse Treatment Program at Montefiore Medical Center, The University Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is seeking a licensed or license eligible psychologist for a half-time position that may become full-time in the future if desired by the successful candidate.
The psychologist will provide individual and group therapy to adults receiving comprehensive psychosocial and medical treatment at our chemical dependency and methadone treatment programs. S/he will actively participate in collaborative, multidisciplinary team meetings consisting of physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and substance abuse counselors.
In addition to providing psychotherapy, the successful candidate
will have the opportunity to supervise and teach interns and residents and to participate in program development.
