ADULT PSYCHOLOGIST: The Department of
Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences
Center of West Virginia University School of Medicine seeks a full time
adult clinical psychologist at the assistant
professor level with an interest in applying evidence based treatment
for affective disorders or PTSD.
Appropriate candidates include new graduates as
well as early career clinicians. Previous experience in academic
medicine not required. The successful candidate will contribute to our
APA-accredited internship training program, medical
student and resident education and is expected to provide clinical
services and participate in scholarly activities. Applicants must
possess a PhD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited graduate
program with an APA/CPA-approved internship and be
immediately eligible for licensure in West Virginia. Review of
