Child Psychologist Position in Sarasota, FL Private Practice Setting

Parent and Child Psychological Services in Sarasota, Florida is an anxiety, trauma and behavior management focused private practice in search of Child Psychologist applicants interested in using Evidence Based Treatments (EBTs) with children and teens. This is a great opportunity for applicants interested in being trained in or continuing their work with Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) as Dr. Gibson is a Certified PCIT Level 1 Trainer. Although a wide range of issues are treated within the practice, there is a focus on the use of EBTs with treatment fidelity. Other EBTs used include Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Coping Cat for Anxious Youth. Psychological Testing with children will be an additional component of the position.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or related field, and must possess experience conducting therapy and psychological testing with children, adolescents and families. Licensed psychologists and those looking for a post-doctoral supervised experience are welcome to apply. Prior training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and exposure to some EBTs is preferred.
