POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN PEDIATRIC PSYCHOLOGY

DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS

Applications are invited for 4 full-time 12-month postdoctoral fellowship positions, to begin September 1, 2016. The fellowship offers a rich variety of outpatient and inpatient assessment, therapeutic, and consultative services. The positions provide experience working with children (ages 0-21) with concerns that include adherence, chronic pain, sleep disorders, obesity, endocrinology, high-risk newborn, GI/liver, cystic fibrosis, cardiology, neurological disorders, medical crisis and loss, and other optional rotations.

Fellows receive training at three sites: Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), J.L. Dennis Developmental Center (DDC), and various Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) clinics. ACH is one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the nation and provides outstanding clinical services and facilities. The DDC is an interprofessional center for diagnostic and developmental evaluation and treatment. Research opportunities are available.
